The Bluegrass Region Puts a “Spring” in Website Traffic with Spring e-Newsletter

Let’s face it. Who doesn’t love spending their spring afternoons watching glorious thoroughbreds rounding Keeneland’s dogwood-studded bends? AD-SUCCESS knew that for the Bluegrass Region, such a major tourism draw needed to be promoted like crazy, especially to already-interested individuals. That’s why we pulled a few strings and got a major feature for the Region in Kentucky’s monthly “Unbridled eNewsletter,” a feature that goes to opted-in individuals around the country.

For a bargain price, AD-SUCCESS made the Bluegrass Region both the Feature AND the only Special Offer promoted in the March e-newsletter, reaching the inbox of thousands of interested Kentucky travelers. National Banner Ad Campaign Success

AD-SUCCESS was hired through a grant from the national COPS Office (Community Oriented Policing Services, U.S. Department of Justice) for a national recruitment campaign. The campaign was designed to attract community-minded individuals to find out more about both patrol and civilian position available in local police departments across the country.

Our banner ads on CareerBuilder.com ran 12 weeks and had a click-through rate 3x the national average. The ads directed the audience to www.DiscoverPolicing.org, a site which gave an overview of policing positions, as well as a listing of local law enforcement job opportunities in areas across the country. In addition, AD-SUCCESS took advantage of first quarter placement discounts on the CareerBuilder site saving the client 45% on run-of-site spots and 57% on job category placement.


Social Media Results in Student Ridership & More!

Lexington, Kentucky’s new Colt Trolley was launched in April 2010 with an integration of traditional and social media. Since one of the routes travels between two universities, and the other targets professionals and visitors downtown, the investment in up-to-date, innovative social media was important to integrate into public relation’s efforts. Colt Trolley has it’s own website, ColtTrolley.com, complete with all that there is to do along the trolley routes. Twitter updates help with updating riders about the South Limestone construction’s effect on the green route. A picture contest on wkyt.com captures the fun of riding, and there are already hundreds of fans on Facebook. It was all planned and coordinated with the traditional television, print and radio advertising. The result is great trolley ridership numbers, especially, among college students!


Technology Tools on the Winchester, Ky tourism website

Since research shows that “family groups” are the primary visitors to this area, providing multi-generational activities and a multi-generational web presence was important for success. The TourWinchester.com website is complete with cell phone tours, geocache tours, an interactive calendar and even a GPS giveaway. The site was honored with a 2010 Kentucky Tourism Industry Traverse Award (second place).


Kentucky Affordable Pre-paid Tuition Internet Usage

Through our careful branding efforts, "Get KAPT" was established so that consumers could remember to visit GetKAPT.com – 43,286 hits in the first enrollment period! High Internet usage saved money on printing and helped to clarify a lot of questions before consumers called the KAPT phone lines. Clearing up questions using the Internet permitted valuable phone time to be used in closing the KAPT enrollment commitment. Also, it reduced costs from an out-of-state call center.

CD Rom business card for Louisville Athletic Club (LAC)

The piece was used when LAC first opened in Louisville. The result was a documented success of more than 2800 fitness club memberships being sold before the club construction was complete! AD-SUCCESS won “Best of Show, Business to Consumer” at the 2003 Marketing Communications Agency Network’s (MCAN) Convention and Awards Ceremony in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada.

Traditional and New Media - Bluegrass Family Health

AD-SUCCESS designed a series of brochures with web screenshots as training to enter web portals. The web portals on the site are password protected for members, employers, and physicians. In the late 1990’s, when state open enrollment meetings for health plans were unexpectedly cancelled, we quickly produced a series of postcards announcing a VIRTUAL MEETING on-line with the answers to questions that state employees might have.
